Ponkan: Known locally as Caoshangan, Beitou's ponkans were dubbed "gold on the trees" during the 1950s and 60s, playing a crucial role in northern Taiwan's export economy. Their sweet and tangy flavor remains a cherished taste of the Lunar New Year for Beitou residents.

Vegetables and Herbs: The cool, rainy climate of Hutian Village is ideal for cultivating highland vegetables. The area primarily produces snow peas, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and other seasonal produce. Many farms also grow herbs during their spare time.

Floral Industry: The Zhuzihu area began cultivating flowers during the early Japanese colonial period, starting with cherry blossoms. In the 1960s, farmers transitioned to Calla Lilies, reaching a peak in the 1980s. Today, the region produces various species, including Hydrangeas, making it a significant exporter of Taiwanese flowers. Recently, these vibrant flower fields have become popular spots for visitors, boosting eco-tourism.

Bamboo Shoots: The Datun Mountain area has long cultivated bamboo shoots, such as arrow bamboo and green bamboo shoots. From Lunar New Year through summer, different varieties are available for tasting. The Beitou District Farmers' Association offers educational programs on bamboo shoot harvesting and ecology, attracting numerous participants.

Volcanic Coffee Beans: Datun Mountain boasts volcanic ash soil, rich in organic matter and minerals, comprising only 0.7% of the world's soil. These unique characteristics impart distinctive flavors to locally grown coffee beans, which, when roasted, exude enchanting aromas of cocoa and caramel.
